An hour after the 1960 explosion at Tennessee Eastman Company,
three family members await word on the fate of their loved ones
employed there. Martha, Anne and Houston are stranded at the
family's rural farm house with only limited access to information
about the unfolding disaster. The tension of the day and their
misguided efforts to cope with the situation create a different
kind of explosion-this one caused by the combustion of tempers,
frustrations and fears.
The reading will be in The Skylight Bar & Bistro,
2nd Floor, Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway.
Open for dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. Call Kafevino at 414-224-4900
