Directed by Mary MacDonald Kerr
Featuring Todd Denning, James Pickering, Robert Spencer, Deborah Staples, Michael Stebbins, Linda Stephens, Jonathan Wainwright

A fictionalized depiction of true events, journalist Sibyl Wilford O'Bryne interviews the renowned Mary Baker Eddy, founder of Christian Science in Boston, 1906. Eddy has recently been under attack by Joseph Pulitzer's gutter press, who dispute Eddy's mental and physical competency. As the women's relationship deepens, it becomes clear that Eddy is not the only one who is in crisis.

Offered in partnership with Wisconsin Wrights, a Forward Theater Company program.

Skylight Bar & Bistro (second floor), Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway

The reading is Pay-What-You-Can. Seating is first-come, first-served.

Staged Reading #1

An Evening with Carl Sandburg

Written and performed by Jonathan Gillard Daly
Directed by Gale Childs Daly

Monday, OCTOBER 19, 2015 - 7:30 pM

Carl Sandburg was once a household name in America. Throughout his life, he travelled across the country, guitar in hand, appearing before audiences and entertaining thousands with recitations of his poetry, his eclectic repertoire of folk songs, and whatever personal reminiscences and observations of the American scene came into his head. This presentation is an affectionate attempt to recreate one of those "concerts."

Milwaukee Chamber Theatre accepts new scripts for consideration for the Montgomery Davis Play Development Series on a rolling basis.  Click here for more information.
