Milwaukee Chamber Theatre (MCT) seeks a part time audience development coordinator to manage the company's group sales and community outreach efforts.

Reporting to the managing director and marketing director, the audience development coordinator's responsibilities include developing and executing a group sales plan; meeting MCT's group sales goals in the areas of school, corporate and community groups; group research and prospecting; and creating group sales promotional material in print and online. This position will provide excellent customer service to group leaders, managing not only their ticket transactions but also providing assistance with other aspects of their theatre-going experience including travel, dining and other theatre-related programming.  He/she will be responsible for executing ticketing functions for group sales including issuing invoices, processing payments and greeting patrons.

The audience development coordinator will work with the MCT staff to connect plays with relevant communities and organizations in the metro Milwaukee area. This position will explore and develop collaborative partnerships with other organizations as a means of increasing ticket sales and visibility.  This individual may represent MCT by attending meetings of various membership organizations including Historic Third Ward Association, Visit Milwaukee, Art Milwaukee, etc.

Candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and writing skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office. Experience with databases, email marketing, In Design/Adobe Creative Suite and social media preferred. Working knowledge of box office operations and experience working with schools and universities a plus.

Position is quarter-time with flexible hours and a preferred start date of July 1, 2013.  Some evening and weekend hours required.
